Order Desk Production Management Software

Order Desk is PC-based software that runs on any networked computer in your office. It connects your office to your Pathfinder-controlled folding machines, putting the profile creation and order management in the hands of the front office personnel instead of the machine operator. This level of integration allows folding machine operators to spend their time producing parts, not deciphering drawings and programming profiles. It also increases order entry speed and decreases the number of mistakes made while processing a customer's order.

With Order Desk you can:

  • Create and manage one set of trim profiles from a networked PC and store them in a shared network location, so that any Pathfinder-controlled folding machine can access any part profile.
  • Create one profile that can be used on different makes of machines. The geometry of the profile is kept separate from the sequences so each machine can have its own unique sequence for each shared profile.
  • Create orders using the Order Desk software or Eclipse Production Management System.
  • Print bar-coded labels with order information and a thumbnail of the profile. The labels can be placed on a stack of blanks and used to call up the order from Pathfinder using a USB bar code scanner.
  • Split large jobs between multiple Pathfinder-controlled folding machines.
  • Track produced profiles for each job by date and Pathfinder-controlled folding machine.
  • Add Eclipse to include downloading capability and to enhance job scheduling.  
  • Print proof sheets to send to your customers for approval, preventing possible mistakes between a customer's intended order and what is actually created.
