Roper Whitney’s Auto Brake 2000 series of folding machines are mechanical workhorses that often maintain their performance after many years of use. The A1200 controllers connected to such machines, however, are obsolete and nearly impossible to replace. Those A1200 controllers that still work are extremely limited in their functions, difficult to use, and lack the accuracy of modern control systems.

AMS Controls has created a retrofit package to replace these A1200 controllers with Pathfinder, a state-of-the-art folding machine control system that will improve your machine’s accuracy, increase its capabilities and make it much easier to use. Pathfinder includes SmartPath auto-sequencing to automatically calculate the best sequence of bends to make each part, no matter how complicated. SmartPath creates a level playing field where every operator, regardless of experience, can operate the machine at the same advanced level. Just a couple of hours of training can give a new operator the ability to create parts as quickly as an operator with decades of experience.
